Here’s some complete marketing BS I ran across tonight: “Ranked in the top 99.63% of web development companies world wide.” I go to the FAQ to find out who they’re ranked by and I get this:
Note to self: under construction pages suck.
Further note to self: if you’re going to claim you’re in the top whatever percent, make it obvious how you justify that claim.
I updated my laptop to IE7 the other day. I use Firefox most of the time, but I figured I’d give IE a shot.
Anyway, this morning when I opened my QuickBooks Pro 2005, it indicated it had downloaded an update and asked if I wanted to install it. Sure. So it went on it’s merry way.

And then I opened QuickBooks. The first warning? QuickBooks 2005 is not compatible with Internet Explorer 7 at this time. The only useful button is “Remind me later” which takes me into QuickBooks without issue.
Intuit usually does a good job. This is a disappointment. It’s even more disappointing since IE7 is usually downloaded and installed automatically.
